Where do I start. Sabbetical, that is a good word to use. I believe I have been on a sabbatical leave since I been back from the Love Zone/War Zone God drop me into aka Chicago. As some of you might know my last sister Monet in Chicago went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2012. Being a brother, pastor of the family, and now one of the elders to hold the family together through the power of the Holy Spirit and His wisdom. I believe I surpressed my feelings or did I deny my flesh for the sake of others to lead the family during these sensitive times? Good question pastor!!!! When I arrived back here in California I blended right into the daily agenda and even had some challenges I had to deal with here. But I also had secluded myself from everyone but thank God the Father that my alone time was with the Holy Spirit and he guided me all the way through last weekend when I cried for the first time for my sister. Tears of joy, relief, and freedom from the death of her body and the enternal life of her spirit.
WOW I feel like a new man with a stronger mission. During that time the Holy Spirit was ministering strongly about the ministry and where we are going. So as we began the year I would like to share with you the most Honorable New year Resolution (As I like to call it) I have seen.
From the Devotional Book (Jesus Calling by Sarah Young) ( I strongly recommend this book) And Jesus Said:
“Come to Me with a teachable spirit, eager to be changed. A close walk with Me is a life of continual newness. Do not cling to old ways as you step into a new year. Instead, seek My Face with an open mind, knowing that your journey with Me involves being transformed by the renewing of your mind. As you focus your thoughts on Me, be aware that I am fully attentive to you. I see with a steady eye, because My attention span is infinite. I know and understand you completely: My thoughts embrace you in everlasting Love. I also know the plans I have for you; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Give yourself fully to this adventure of increasing attentiveness to My Presence”.
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.
