COMPLETE SPIRITUAL MAKEOVER

Imagine yourself walking to the cross of your Redeemer. The spirit of the living God has drawn you to this place of repentance. Everyone who has accepted Christ as Savior has been there. No faults are showing, no pain is exposed, and no rejection is revealed. Everything is in place as you answer Jesus’ call.

This should be a safe and noble journey. However, something unexpected happens on your way to the cross of Jesus Christ. Masks and disguises begin to fall away until the real you is exposed. On your way, Satan reminds you of your past, your mistakes, and your failures, and he tries to steer you away from your eternal destiny. Then something remarkable happens. Jesus comes off the cross where his redemptive blood was shed for your transgressions. He takes his pure robe of righteousness and drapes it over your life, hiding all your ugliness. At that instant, you become beautiful! Not because of what you have or have not done but because of what was done for you.

Now you stand accepted, loved, and made whole. You begin to see yourself as Christ sees you. He sees you made in His image. He sees your full potential. He sees your God-given destiny. You have just had a complete spiritual makeover. Now you should see yourself as Jesus sees you…beautiful!
