What a Friend!

When I reached 100 friends on my Facebook page I became so excited. My dear daughter shot me down by saying, “100 Mom? That’s not a lot of friends.” After looking at the number of friends she had, I realized that it really wasn’t a lot of friends. However, it made me question how many of those people were actually a true friend to her. I can say without a doubt, that I have at least one true friend. My friend loves me unconditionally, does not judge me, and is always there in my time of need. My friend is an unselfish confidant, who not only listens to but also resolves my every concern. Oh, what a friend I have in Jesus!

Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high. My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; on behalf of a man he pleads with God as one pleads for a friend.
