It’s All About Love
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
I believe there are some things that are indispensable when it comes to living the Word of God. I believe we must have Love and The Fruit of the Spirit as our foundation. Without these our spiritual walk is void.
As per the scripture above, Jesus gave us a command, not a suggestion or a recommendation, but a command. This is the only place in the Word, except the 10 Commandments, that God gives us a Commandment.
Need I say more? In 1 Corinthians 13 Paul lays out the greatest gift of all is Love. He also talks in 1 Corinthians 12 about the Spiritual gifts. He says that if they are not carried out in Love, than it is void.
You see my family, I believe we need to look at our Love Walk. We say we seek to be Christ like, but are we really? Can we ask ourselves this question when we are in situations?
What would Jesus do?…and do it like Jesus.
