What is Wheat Germ?

It is a very small part of a grain of wheat – approximately 2.5% of the weight. The word ‘germ’ refers to germination, which is the reproductive part of the kernel that germinates and forms the wheat grass. It is divided up into 3 distinctive parts; the bran, the endosperm, and the germ.
